A fairly straightforward day today. We arrived in Darwin safely. After settling into St Paul's Parish in Darwin we headed to town for a bite to eat and some supplies for the trip to the islands tomorrow.

After some fish and chips, souvlaki and red rooster by the sea we watched the sun slip below the water line. We walked past the NT Parliament House site of the original Darwin Post Office which was bombed in February of 1942.
